An outcast from an aging and forsaken enclave struggles to survive by his wits in a harsh and lonely world. Attempting to answer his own questions and settle a personal vendetta, he employs help from some perceptive accomplices who are able to look past the deceit surrounding his banishment. Together, they inadvertently and unwittingly become the protectors of the very enclave that had cast them out.
